Empowered women, empower women. Using ADAY’s platform and female-centric USP, we created a competition to incite their online community to get creative and help improve the lives of other young women in real life. Introducing the campaign with a competition for all to enter further amplified the community spirit, elevating the support of ADAY’s audience and vice versa.
Followers submitted graphic designs and affirmation quotes to promote female empowerment. A select few were printed as limited edition postcards - mine included - and added to online orders for the month of March.
Created with the intent of instigating positive change, the postcards were used as a tool to raise funds for the ‘Malala Fund’ with donations from every order. Simultaneeously, they provided an opportunity for ADAY fans to address their local MP’s to voice their concerns regarding gender inequality or suggest ideas for improvement.
I also created live Instagram stories that aligned with the brands aesthetic and tone of voice. The campaign picked up great traction as well as exposure. As a result, my work was featured in Harpers Bazaar, Refinery 21 and more.
